As younger Sister to Dianne, Denise isn't a Sheffield Muva to be messed with! No! This stay at home Muva has hardly looked after kids since the first UK Lockdown was declared back in March 2020. Her own Mother takes care of her Grandchildren as if they were her own. Denise and Dianne have each others backs, they are always bombing their five star selves on holiday! Who's Malik? Now, even Denise wouldn't tell me that shady business, he's got a hold on her heart for sure! Dianne asked Denise if she should stop buying her teenage children Easter Eggs, Denise set her right that she need not bother! Yes, those Sister friends jet off to places like Greece, Turkey and Thailand. Denise has been through the mill but she's always there for Dianne and her brood because Nigel isn't a stable figure in Di's life. Locked in the house at the moment during this Pandemic, I miss being freer and allowed to live my life authentically! I need some light, I got just that when I went to Dalian in Northeast China during September 2019. I had been talking to a guy from that city for the longest, I had decided to book and flights and a hotel for the forthcoming 'Mid-Autumn Festival'. I had heard of a Gay bar he had frequented many times and I was already well accustomed to what men from that reason could offer. In the end we didn't meet for several reasons but I secured that address, I knew that I would be hitting up that shady and almost underground bar because China's hushed rainbow scene deserves celebrating! After seeing all I had wanted to during the first morning and afternoon, I hit the streets in my finest autumn casual attire because I had things to do! Of course, I was still looking fresh! The first night in that bar was research, I already caught the eyes of certain customers because I clearly didn't look Chinese! I still don't! Oh, it was just research! 

On my second and final evening, I headed back to the same bar because I had unfinished business to deal with! Several Drag surprises secretly lay ahead of me that night, it was going to get draggy! I got talking to a guy who was doing business in Japan and had returned to Dalian for the holiday weekend, his English was at conversational level, that helped! He and his friend whisked me off to this unknown club, I was about to enter a whole cabaret bar/club! The drinks were flowing and the energy was fire, I lost my mind when '芒种/Grain In Ear' by 'SING女团' came on with the stage lit up brightly! Three queens floated onto the stage and gave the performance of their lives, it was spectacular for Chinese standards. It was low budget and the queens slayed with that they served, it was amazing! It was character filled with a dance routine to boot, the homegrown nature of the number made me love it even more! In that moment, it made me value being Gay in China. In the UK, Drag can see seen easily and not in the shadows! 

October 2020 had me living once again before the UK was put into Lockdown 2.o with the release of Drag Race Holland's debut season! 'Fred Van Leer' donned his femme Drag and also dressed in his suits as the main judge, acting as the Dutch RuPaul. Welcoming the queens of the brand new series had me reading those subtitles for the first time, I was ready to listen and pay attention to the Dutch Drag slang! Brazilian born Miss Abby OMG hurtled into the werk room with her South American fire! Non-Binary performer and make-up extraordinaire, ChelseaBoy had me confused in the best kind of way! The OG Fish presented herself in the form of Janey Jacké, it was a lesson for me because I didn't know who that 'meiden' was? The delectable Megan Schoonbrood made her reveal as she walked into the werk room, was she holding a secret from the other queens? Madame Madness became the first ever 'bearded queen' in the Drag Race franchise! Was Roem Service about to become the 'Gothy Kendoll' of the European series? 

Now, don't get it twisted because 'Gothy Kendoll' is an iconic artist and Haus Mother! Sedergine became the first Flemish/Belgian queen to walk onto the Drag Race Holland set. MamaQueen also represented the Non-Binary division with their unique and carrying first entrance look. Patty Pam-Pam entered the Dutch race with her petite and pretty refrain. Envy Peru changed the game, with her Peruvian origins and her mothers emotional story of immigration to find a better tomorrow, we were served with an absolute star! With mini challenges that incorporated elements of the US show, local references with clogs and tulips were definitely appreciated. The nude model shoot was tastefully done and the acting challenge with the Drama Queens 'Gooische Vrouwen' acting bonanza! Snatch Game gave ChelseaBoy the chance to shine with their knock-out 'Joe Exotic' hilarity! Taking the crown, cash and custom made gown, Envy Peru slayed the first Dutch series of Drag Race! Meiden, succes, en verneuk het niet! C'mon, Series 2? 

Creating their world in the image of a famous brand of crayons, colourful and camp this queen unleashes their childhood through true art! Who am I talking about? It's 'Crayola The Queen!' Their mission is to inspire others to find their power, freedom and bravery through the medium of performance art. Harnessing their cartoonish aesthetic, those colours from the crayon box help 'Crayola The Queen' to spread their message of positivity and light! Serving up tri-nationality status, 'Crayola' truly embodies an international flare that has spanned three countries. 'Crayola The Queen' believes that all platforms of Drag is valid, there's no changing this queens mind! Are you sure? Yes, 'Crayola' is deadly serious! This queen un-apologetically identifies as 'Non-Binary', as a fabulous creature! 'Crayola' breaks through the 'Gender Binary' without any reservations to be made! Mama Ru can't win them all, it's no secret that the 'Race' has a lot of work to do with 'GNC' drag. Pardon me, 'GNC' stands for 'Gender Non Conforming'. 

'Crayola The Queen' sees their work far removed from a certain 'Race' with no 'Ru-pologises' to make. Their work will be un-apologetically away from the 'Main Stage' in their own 'House of Cray!' They have countless gigs coming up that welcome 'All Platforms of Drag'. Back to breaking the 'Binary', 'Crayola' clearly agrees with the conversation between 'Ginny Lemon' and 'Bimini Bon Boulash' during season 2 of 'Drag Race UK'. Their feeling of being 'Non-Binary' felt natural for 'Crayola The Queen' but only having the definition in the last four years had bolstered the reason for the conversation between the 'Lemon styled' 'Non-Binary' performer. Colour your world! Priyanka is representing well, 'Crayola' told me so! They would love to see another 'South Asian' queen make their presence known further into the light. Like a box of colourful crayons, we need to take a crayon out of 'Crayola The Queen's' stash, they've got their colours! Drag isn't just 'Ru', no way!
