Life's A Drag... Kaylee's Night, Miss Macau & UK's 7th!

Excuse the beauty! I fell into my Drag bag once again, the mood was 'Levitating' by 'Dua Lipa!' I was the other Kardashian sister, the one Kris never talks about! Drag allows reinvention! A shapeshifting hustling former Portuguese Overseas Territory? Miss Macau has educated me three times over! Both UK and Canada Ru-turned for their respective 7th and 6th seasons. Slay!

New York, Paris & Ningbo! I wanted to bring some glitter to my 2026 Chinese New Year event in Ningbo, China! I didn't need much persuasion to rummage in my Drag bag, I wanted to have my own spotlight though. Not compromising nothing, I gained my tens before the event even started! 'Dua Lipa's' famous bop, 'Levitating' was my suggested performance number, I practiced the lip sync carefully and sourced my wig and outfit with pleasure. One of the managers at my kindergarten sourced a nearby make-up artist because mama doesn't paint herself! This would be my third time up in Drags at my school in Ningbo, I had already made that change twice before, another shot would make it alright! I've been there done that, worn that dress, I'm not new to this! Staying true to my cause, I trusted in the make-up artist and for her first 'male to female' transformation she did a really good job! The coverage on the beard was the best it was going to be! As soon as the wig was fitted on my head, this third incarnation was realised. K&K?

With my flowing black hair and a red dress, I was feeling very much like a Kardashian! A good friend actually said that I resembled one of those sisters! I called myself 'Kaylee Kardashian', the sister that started off a brother but fled to Thailand to complete her gender reassignment. The venue wasn't ready for me, neither were the local staff members, it was going to be a treat for them! The heels weren't doing what they needed to, I wore trainers and didn't care one bit! I stormed the stage with my feminine charms activated, some of those PTA moms were jealous of my man-made beauty! Not missing a beat, I lip synced for my actual life, RuPaul would've loved Kaylee! And just like that, it was time for Kaylee Kardashian to fly back to Pattaya for her nightly show at Jomtien Complex because Tiffany's could never! We all love a good back story to brighten up the mundane! I throughly got my life once again, I know that during this season I'll have another chance to zip myself back up in a dress! Oh, Kaylee Kardashian is back in her box!

The Drag Race franchise was about to 'WOW' us with a sixth season from the 'Great Canadian North!' Five seasons had passed but no 'All Stars?' Something was in the water, our 'Auntie Brooklyn Hytes' had definitely been cooking something up! Yes! Paula Adbul expressed that she wants to apply for her Canadian citizenship quickly, she loved the queens and then some! The challenges were interesting from 'Not Sorry Aboot It', 'Van Goth' and 'Brooke' lip synced in front of Paula during the first week! 'Yachty Girls' was a hot mess, those commercials were messy but made me laugh! 'Pick Your Poison' put the cat amongst the pigeons with the girls playing at their strengths, half chose to do 'Snatch Game' and the others took the 'Design Challenge'. 'Reading Battles' brought the roast to the 'Main Stage' in pairs with queens turning up the heat in pairs. 'The Shade' welcomed singer, 'Keisza' onto the sofa as that 'Chat Show' challenge tried the queens to keep their timing in check! We needed the 'Slay Offs' to happen! Bring the 'Doll' back!

Season 2 legend and 'Slaysian Royale' Canadian representative returned to give the queens a helping hand for 'Brooklyn's' Wérk Room looks for the 'Paris (Ontario) Fashion Week'. As the competition progressed, I was really satisfied with this season as queens sashayed away. The right queens stayed and even with a possible Canadian All Stars in the works, I would love to see 'Sami Landri' compete. Arcadian representation for the win! A four part semi final challenge? Yes, 'Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve & Talent' brought so much more to the table. The correct final four were brought to the final with no mistakes made, this season brought much more to the table. 'Pop Queens of the North' brought a final like no other, I really enjoyed watching this season and knew from the start that 'Van Goth' would win! For me, I would love to see more French spoken in the seasons and maybe 'Drag Race France' welcome a 'Quebec/Arcadian' queen to their next season of 'All Stars!' Here's to a great season, here's to their 7th and All Stars!

Miss Macau has been waiting in the wings for her 'Life's A Drag' glow up! This shapeshifting former Portuguese Overseas Territory has more personalities than a RuPaul 'Snatch Game' impersonation showdown! From 1557 through till 1999, this former part of China's Guangdong was governed by Portugal, after 442 years of European rule this 'fusion' SAR changed the game for Mother China's hidden figures! On the surface, Macau's historical Portuguese built churches, cobbled streets and grand architecture largely have been protected by the Central Government. Why? Why travel to Lisbon when Mainland Chinese people can simply hop over the border at Zhuhai, Shenzhen or Hong Kong to experience the authentic and charming appeal of those Portuguese buildings without a passport! Loopholes in this agreement have made Miss Macau a top earner within the continent of Asia, gambling is prohibited in Mainland China but where does this former Portuguese icon come into the mix? Casinos, who?

Way before M was declared a 'Special Administrative Region' of China, Macau's then Governor, 'João Maria Ferreira do Amaral' legalised gambling in 1847! In present day, Miss Macau has become more profitable than Las Vegas with the same casino brands flocking to Macau's Taipa. From the Peninsula's old Portuguese memories to their own 'Las Vegas Boulevard, this pint-size SAR packs an almighty punch! I have been to Macau three times since 2016 and for me as a British person, I always feel connected to something European and familiar with this Lisbon lookalike territory making me miss home a little less. Macau can only operate with migrant workers due to hospitality opportunities galore, this has built a remarkable 'OFW' community. OFW? Overseas Filipino Workers that's who! I found 'Little Manila' within the winding alleys near 'Praça de Ponte e Horta!' Variety is definitely the spice of life because what happens in Macau stays in Macau! Lady Las Vegas has seen her day, it's all about Miss Macau! Halikayo, M!

Seventh heaven or another sashay too far? 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' hurtled back with their 7th series during late 2025. The luck of the Irish? This series was the first to welcome a queen from the 'Republic of Ireland', 'Bonnie Ann Clyde' brought more than just a pot of gold at the end of her rainbow! Thai, Caribbean and Cameroonian elements were brought to the competition but I'm tired of waiting for a South Asian queen! We saw mash ups on the runway and within the Maxi Challenges, celebrating 'Absolutely, Fabulous' with 'A Night of a Thousand: Sweetie Darlings' on the runway! We got a 'Take Me Out' revved up 'Snatch Game' because the usual format has been done to death, we saw you 'Chair!' We heard 'Cymraeg' spoken more than once. Diolch yn fawr, 'Catrin Feelings!' Bones was a quiet assassin, she fell a few times but the makeover challenge elevated her place in the competition with 'Charlotte Church' by her side! 'The Tainters' Mini Challenge made me laugh, those Winkleman looks were ace! BBC, clock it!

More about the Makeover Challenge, we saw actress, 'Shobna Gulati' become the first South Asian person to serve down the Runway and in the Work Room! Coventry was on the Runway? Yes, the Sky Blues were represented but costumes were her downfall according to Michelle? 'Sally TM' needed to believe in her own kookiness, it is her super power! 'Chai T Grande' should be on a future season of 'Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale!' 'Nyongbella' should inspire a possible 'African Royale' after 'Drag Race South Africa' gets her chops into the franchise! 'Paige Three' will be back when Ru decides 'UK' gets own our 'All Stars!' To no surprise, 'Bones' snatched the trophy and claimed the title as the 'UK's Next Drag Race Superstar!' I do want to see a more diverse cast, I am claiming the rumours to be true that 'Lucky Roy Singh' will break the curse and become the first British South Asian competitor on the UK stage! Talking of returns, I want the 'Lucky Cow' back for Series 8! Thanks Mother, I'm loving your 'UK Hun Era!'
