Life's A Drag... Pangina Heals, House On Fire & CVTW S2!

World Of Wonder has changed the game, producing more than just shows from the 'Drag Race Franchise'. Burning up New York City, I lived for 'House On Fire!' I demand an immediate season renewal for the 'House Of Miyake-Mugler!' France served a third season with Canada showing the world what she can do for a second time! Tongue Thai'd? 'Pangina Heals' is back!!! 

Thailand's own 'Drag Superstar', 'Pangina Heals' first came onto the 'WOW' scene as a judge and host of 'Drag Race Thailand'. A powerhouse without Mother Ru's platform, Heals now heads her own empire of businesses in Bangkok, Thailand as well as being a 'Drag Icon!' Now, I have to be honest that I only saw Pangina judge alongside 'Art Arya' for one episode because for me, second season was really difficult to follow! I will be back to appreciate 'Season 3' when it comes to us in Autumn 2024. Now, even though Kantana Group did the Thai version of 'Drag Race' dirty, I have high hopes for the renewed Thai incarnation! Pangina has been busy with several 'Drag Race' appearances including being a part of the cast of 'RuPaul's Drag Race: UK Vs The World, Season 1'. This was the first time for a large proportion of us to see Pangina Heals in the first place, Pangina wasn't going to let that 'competitive appearance' be her last! She has been seen as a 'Lip-Sync Assassin' and 'Catwalk Jury' during two seasons within the 'Drag Race' machine. Oh!

Pangina has appeared on 'WOW' in 'Tongue Thai'd', where she interviews a series of 'Drag Race' girls in a Thai restaurant. So far, this spin off has had two seasons if I'm not mistaken? I am sure with more in the pipeline, Pangina will return to that 'Foodie' inspired show soon! Securing her 'U.S Visa', it wasn't long before 'Drag Race Live' saw Pangina join queens such as 'Alexis Mateo', 'Kennedy Davenport' and 'Lawrence Chaney' at Las Vegas's 'Flamingo Resort'. Being one of the first two international performers to join that show has opened the door to other international members of the 'Drag Race Franchise'. Pangina's presence and impact has definitely motivated me to visit Thailand! That's where I will be able to see Thai Drag live and dance the night away at one of Pan's clubs in Bangkok! Yes, Pangina's influence will encourage me to book a flight after Season 3 of 'Drag Race Thailand' has aired, I already know it! With this Asian powerhouse returning to the Thai judging panel, it makes me really excited for future Asian DR seasons! Go!

Third time's a charm? 'Drag Race France' debuted their 'troisième saison' during May 2024 with ten queens, all who were 'Olympic' ready for their season! Did someone say 'Paris Olympics 2024?' Yes, this third season debuted in the same year as France's equally 'légendaire' competition! Now, I'm going to address this round-up by 'challenges' because this third season brough the mustard! Of course, French if you must know! 'Voluez-Vous Drag Race Avec Moi Ce Soir?' kicked off proceedings with a whole host of choerography on show! It was pretty telling that 'Nicky Doll' wouldn't be playing friends during this 3rd round of 'Drag Race France!' 'Ball Games' brought a two-piece 'Ball Runway Concept' with a 'head-piece' bombshell dropped! The Olympics were playfully brought in with the 'Ball Games' mini challege, it was amusing to see 'quick drag' to have a category at the 'true' Olympics! 'Céline Dion' was on the judging panel? Not quite but France's 'Céline Dion: The Rusical' brought the house down with a spectacle! Oui!

Dramatics? 'Edeha Noire' brought the theatrics during her time on the French race! 'The 'Snatch Game' served two looks, the queens were required to portray another personality with the quickness! That suspicious telephone kept on ringing! A 'Queen Of The Universe?' Yes, 'Leona Winter' became the second queen to have made an appearance on the Franchise since Mexico's 'Regina Voce!' Challenges aside, my front runner was 'Le Filip' with her self-deprecating 'talent show' stand up comedy skit, she also slayed in the 'Roast of Keiona!' 'Norma Bell' made my blog photo finish for 'France S3' because she didn't deserve that 'Snatch Game' booting, it was great to see her representing 'La Réunion!' The LGBTQ+ elders of France were representated beautifully within 'Ma Grande Sœur Drag', it reminded the Franchise that 'Philippines' inspired this episode with Manila's 'Golden Gays!' Deserve! I wasn't mad to see 'Ruby On The Nail' in the finale, she had worked her padded arse off! 'Le Filip' deserved their victory! Renew it! Come on! 

'House On Fire' didn't have me reclaiming any of my time! Serving nothing but truth within one of New York City's finest Ballroom houses! Welcoming the 'House Of Miyake-Mugler' had me gagging from the very first moment, I was not ready for the eleganza! The heat had gotten those house members turned up for one summer of mayhem and spiciness, from those 'House Balls' to 'Tributes', I wanted a second season announced after the first episode had aired! I had not watched 'Legendary' before its cancellation but 'World Of Wonder' came on through with this 'unapologetic' season of 'Black Excellence! 'Chanel' had me clicking my fingers with adoration for her snappy sense of humour, she had my heart from the get go! The House Mother & Father' set the rules for their children, standing as the pillars of the house! 'Leyna Bloom' returned in a blaze of glory with those pots stirred further, her thirst to re-join the house was a lot! Fresh from the streets and new to the 'Ballroom' scene, 'AJ' came in with a willingness to learn. Serving it!  

Feeling the 'Trantasy?!' 'Tatti' brought her authentic street personality even thought she was battling with her inner demons, changing categories took her all the way to that therapist! 'Brooklyn' started her journey into 'Transhood', finding that her path to womanhood wouldn't be a smooth one! Certain drama and blow-ups occurred but the family stuck together, it was evident that one member had sashayed down the runway on 'RuPaul's Drag Race!' 'Liv Lux', we see you! It has also been brought to my attention that 'Aja' has become the second known 'Ru-Girl' to join the 'Miyake-Mugler' family. Oh, Coney Island went there, all the way! Those beachside NYC shenanigans turned the summer heat up a few thousand degrees! I want, demand and deserve a renewal for this gagworthy 'WOW' produced concept! I spent many summer nights at home with a mixed drink in hand as I watched 'House On Fire!' I loved remeniscing about my summer in NYC with this season featuring many points around the city! 

Canada was about to go there again! This super short season returned to my 'WOW Plus' screen during the summer of 2024 with a whole lot of shade, it was a lot for such a short run! With a French first and a whole lot of 'Sabotage' going on, I will always have time for 'Alexis Mateo' on a 'Drag Race' incarnation! Now, we saw 'Cheryl' return for a third time along with fellow 'UK Vs The World' competitor, 'Lemon'. Coming back for more, 'Eureka!' made her entrance once more into the workroom, serving authenticity galore! 'Drag Race Live' superstar, 'Kennedy Davenport' took her sickening dance skills to the Canadian mainstage! Now, we we're bitter because 'Lemon' made it clear that this 'All Stars' season wouldn't cast her as the 'Porkchop!' France's 'La Kahena' became the first 'Continental European' queen to be featured on this 'Canadian' spin off! Pouting for the gods, 'Miss Fiercalicious' threw a few tantrums for her own Canada! UK's 'Le Fil' was about to bring 'British Chinese Excellence' to the mainstage! 'Tynomi Banks' did her thing! Yes!

The 'Drag Pop' challenge impressed me with catchy tiles such as; 'Tongue Pop' and 'Bopulence' and 'This Beat!' A 'Traitors' style maxi challenge graced this incarnation of 'Vs The World' on the Canadian side, 'Lisa Rinna' looked like she hadn't a clue where she was?! No! The 'Reading Challenge' was transferred to the mainstage with queens working in pairs to clap back at each other in real-time, it was an interesting concept to see. Now, I won't lie because the lack of representation from other seasons was very obvious! Canada needs to sort out its visa regulations and casting needs to leave those Anglo queens at home! 'Snatch Game: The Musical?' Yes, it was really something to see the 'Rusical' and 'Snatch Game' spliced together, it was a first! 'Lemon' deservedly took the crown for Canada, it was a clear win from the beginning for her! You already know that Puerto Rico's dancing diva is the queen for me, that's 'Alexis Mateo' if you have no culture! I will remain faithful to 'WOW' because life is much better with their content!
