Life's A Drag... Thailand's Reign, Hanfu Looks & Pussycat Dolls!

Thailand Vs The World? Are U.K Hun?! Gawland took the crown! More franchises were featured on the UK MainStage! 2024s 'Mid-Autumn Festival' saw me 'China Drag-Up' for the first time! Toot on that flute, hun! Season 18 was a season I sped watch on a flight back to Shanghai from Cairo! Nicole and the Dolls tried to comeback again with only three girls? That's some shade, N! 

I was so excited for the third series of 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World' with countries like 'Sweden, Germany and Mexico' making their debut! We saw a 'Pageant Style' Snatch Game because Ru needed to keep those queens moving, we saw a Thai version 'Cardi B' shine! 'Serena Morena' from 'Drag Race Mexico' brought humour, she was saved more times by the 'Chippy Tea' than I've had hot dinners! 'Kate Butch' had something she wanted to talk about, her distressed Union Jack dress  said everything it needed, colonial reparations on the runway! Don't talk to me about 'Zahirah Zapanta's performance because her presence on the series was like an audition tape for 'Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale' and I'm not mad! Handling matters, 'The Only Naomy' handled that 'dark business' with humour, reclaiming Germany's past but she made it Drag! Naomy's impact should be enough to renew 'Drag Race Germany' for a second season! This UK franchise is great but I would love to see a 'UK AllStars! Canada did it! 

Breakout stars of the series had to be 'Fontana' from 'Drag Race Sweden' showed the UK audience that this 'Brazilian' queen could get really spicy in the 'casa!' Embodying her favourite things from her adoptive home, 'Sweden' with her spice and energy from South America! 'Sminty Drop' left smarting from the decision after that further-on lip-sync because 'Kate Butch' had made her decision! Straight out of the Philippines came 'Minty Fresh', her Snatch Game was not the one but her looks were fire and her personality gave kindness! U.S representation was legendary with 'Mariah Paris Balenciaga' gave completion and confidence with her presentation giving everything! 'Kate Butch's' pull-away yarn bikini was a gag, she had stepped up her looks to a new level! Throwing nobody under the bus, 'Gawdland' reclaimed the 'international crown' for Thailand, making her the third Thai queen to compete on an international franchise! สวัสด, TH! We must see more respect placed upon Asian Drag Race queens and upcoming series! ไปกันเลย! 

Before the 'Mermaid', I was breaking those 'Drag' moves into my kindergarten events with 2024s 'Mid-Autumn Festival' the big one! I bought the wig, the Hanfu and the rest was energy! I was dying for some make up, but now I know that not having some in my back pocket would never had hurt me! Giving 'The Untamed', I tooted on that flute and did my best to appreciate that culture! My black wig allowed me to serve a look like never I had before, it was thrilling to experience that moment! Parents gasped and appreciated my commitment because if you're going to do something right then you should be true! I loved the routine as the reception of the school filled up, I cannot play the flute but I did my best to impersonate that art! Drag can be anything if you want it to be other than your ordinary wear, I knew that this ancient 'get-up' was something out of the ordinary and I wanted to make it my best! Collaborating with my colleagues and dear teaching friend, we performed in that moment! I did it for the culture! No!

If you looked back to the famous Chinese television series 'The Untamed' and many more famous Chinese incarnations during the Dynasties, there's a certain flare to them! You'd think the government would fuss and fight over those laid wigs that flow effortlessly? Not to mention those demure and blanched faces with enough make-up to sink a tanker from Shanghai! That's Drag! Fighting the narrative of what 'masculinity' really is, stands to be worthless because men present themselves in different ways. Soft, gracious, peaceful and demure presentations do not  take away from his masculine presentation, that's a governmental problem not a personal issue. I embodied that Mid-Autumn role with care and gusto at the same time because this isn't my culture to embody just to appreciate. I knew in that moment that I would be branching out with my look, pushing beyond the boundaries to show my students that dress up becomes part of our everyday routine! That's more worthwhile than any 'Little Steps' lesson because that's just eww! 

I had been bogged down with season after season because of work-induced exhaustion I had fell behind with the quick succession of new seasons from 'Canada' and the 'UK", I found myself raw-dogging this 18th season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race on my China inbound flight from Cairo, Egypt! 'Mandy Mango' will be another RuGirl to represent herself on the Pinoy 'Slaysian Royale' stage! 'Ciara Myst' did 'Jane Don't' wrong during that mystery bag design challenge, that was either production evils or a personal vendetta? I don't think! Getting into this season I knew that I disliked 'Law Roach' even more because we get people done her wrong her to project that onto the queens continues to be cruel! 'Rate A Queen' was a mess! 'Kenya Pleaser' didn't know her lip sync lyrics, Michelle read her for that! 'Drew Barrymore' and 'Sir David Attenborough' on the 'Snatch Game' were the best! 'Mya Starr' and other competitors didn't make the mark and I'm sure Ru is getting tired of these girls? You know, the 'Love Island' concept has worked! Yes, Ru! 

The rusical slapped, it was 'Myki Meeks' moment to sing out loud! 'Discord Adams' had walked all season long, her legs must've been aching? Yes! When you have a gimmick, you have something! 'Myki' made it onto the 'Drew Barrymore Show' with rave review because she embodied every part of her character! 'Briar Blush' wasn't well but she didn't "squabble this opportunity!" I'm sure we will see her return soon! Yes!  'Darlene Mitchell' was the light during the 'Roast of Alicia Edwards', those mistakes were intentional. The usual final four became three and I wasn't bad because let's go back to the beginning, like we should? Yes! Seeing the girls all come back was immense, as much as 'Jane Don't' did, I see her come back to an All Stars soon! Internationally, I knew that it would be essential for our girl 'Juicy Love Dion' to become a 'Latina Royale' sensation! Season 19 is around the corner but I want to see a Latina winner right now! Cubana, Dominicana, or Boricua!, we must see the representation! ¡Estoy listo, ahora, B!

Fresh in the game, 'The Pussycat Dolls?' During 2005 as they had been carefully placed around singer, 'Nicole Scherzinger'. Don't let their name bamboozle you because this multi-talented performer brought my first Filipino star to my presence. Five other members danced for their careers but all we heard was Nicole, we must uplift women in the industry but this modern 'Spice Girls' told us record labels know what they want! Of course, I listened to them but something kept coming up, let everybody sing together? 'Beep' was a hit but we only heard one 'Doll' whilst the others danced and kept their place in the band. In the UK we had the Spice Girls and each member had their own quirks, this American incarnation claimed favouritism and it stank! With collaborations to boot, we could only heard a few echoes of the other girls and we were supposed to accept that. The girls needed new management! Carmit faded away after the debut record as the other girls grinned, Nicole was ready for Broadway but her fanbase wasn't!

'I Hate This Part' because we knew that this would be the end of the dolls. We had one album but it would be a righteous one? Show-business prevailed, a second album would be released but with unequal parts would be prevail. A second album was catapulted into the world, I event to see this show and many people around got to say what they thought about this second PCD record! After the tour, the girls drifted away as three of them made their life in the UK. As reunion rumours swirled around, 'Melody Thornton' made her voice loud, the power from the record label became known. Before the 2020 Pandemic took over we saw five out of the six girls reunited. That false start was something, 'Robin Antin' called it wrong but in 2026 three of the girls made their announcement clear! React? 'Nicole Scherzinger' needs her back up singers and I don't blame her because if you have talent, why should you need share the stage with amateurs! You need your own stage as the main character, you know I won't apologise! It's timing, girlipop!
